Welcome a Japanese Student into your Home

Our school will be hosting Japanese students from Heian Junior High School again this year.  They’ll be spending one day in our school on Friday 22 August but will be spending the weekend with host families organized by the Study Tour Agent.

The students are aged 14/15 years old.

Students are looking for twin share placement and host families are asked to:

Ÿ Give the students a safe and caring environment - treat the students as an extension of your own family

Ÿ Provide 3 meals a day - and

Ÿ Arrange transport to and from the school on
22 August - accompany your child to school

As a host family you will receive $35.00 a night per student to help with expenses, making a total of $210.00.

Our school benefits both culturally and financially from this exciting program, with the possibility of many long-term friendships being formed. 

It’s an opportunity for your children to improve their Japanese language skills, be fascinated by the Japanese culture and experience sharing their home with an international student as well as showing off our wonderful country!
